Knowledge Management

KM or Knowledge Management is a simple assimilation of explicit (what is known, expressed, noticeable) and tacit/implicit (what people know, experience, understand, difficult to articulate) knowledge in any organisation.

At SARO we aim to increase understanding of disability and disability issues through
  • explicit knowledge tools like newsletters, brochures, website etc.
  • implicit knowledge tools like communities of practice (CoPs), knowledge partnerships etc.
SARO’s KM goal“is to become a learning institution and a primary knowledge source on disability in the South Asia region”.
