I am Arsalan. When I was eight years old, an uncle (staff member from Tamir Cheshire Community Programme) visited my house. He used to visit me often and motivate me to study. When I passed my 10th grade with good marks he gifted me a bicycle to go to college.

Every year, I was given a brace by the uncle to help me in my mobility. Today, I am quite grown-up. I study in the 12th grade in a pre-engineering course. I have participated in many talent shows and am a very confident person.
I have come to know that the uncle, who visits me, is from an organisation, Tamir Cheshire Community Programme (TCCP), which works for disabled people. I too would love to help disabled people, especially children, in education. So, I became a member of one of the self help groups (SHG) promoted by TCCP. I have received three days training on SHGs. I will do my best to support children in whatever way I can.
I want to become an Electrical Engineer. My family and friends support me and are very proud of my achiemvents. I am thankful to TCCP for building my life.
